1. Agreement to Terms
By using CrowdSnap ("the Service") as a venue partner, couple or wedding guest, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The Service
CrowdSnap lets wedding venues offer guest photo sharing as part of their wedding packages. Each partner venue receives QR table cards and signs that open whichever wedding is happening at the venue that day. Guests scan the code, share photos, videos and guestbook messages from their phone, and the couple and guests receive the full gallery the morning after the wedding.
3. Venue Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the venue you register.
- Keep your account details accurate and your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Accounts may not be used for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
4. Venue Partner Terms
Packages
- You agree to include CrowdSnap in your wedding packages for at least 12 months from the date you accept these terms.
- You set the price you charge your couples and you're responsible for describing CrowdSnap accurately to them.
Fees and billing
- CrowdSnap charges a fee for each wedding you add: currently $199 in the US, or a price we've agreed with you in writing. There is no setup fee or monthly fee.
- The fee is charged to the card saved on your account when you add the wedding. The wedding goes live once the charge succeeds. If it fails, the wedding stays inactive until you update your card and retry.
- Stripe processes all payments. Receipts are emailed to your account's contact address.
- We may change the per-wedding fee with 30 days' written notice. Weddings already added keep the price they were charged.
Cancellations and refunds
- If you delete a wedding before its date, we refund its fee to the card it was charged to.
- Fees are not refunded on or after the wedding date, since the Service has been provided.
Signs
- Once your setup is complete, we print and ship your table cards (one per table plus spares), frames and bar and entrance signs, free of charge.
- Please put the signs out at each CrowdSnap wedding. Ask us for replacements if any are lost or damaged; reasonable replacements are free.
- The signs remain CrowdSnap's property. If the partnership ends, we may ask you to return them or stop using them.
Earlier partners
- Weddings booked under our earlier couple-pays model keep their original terms, including venue commissions paid through Stripe Connect.
5. Couples and Guests
- Guests don't need an account. By joining a wedding you agree to these terms.
- Only share photos and videos you took or have the right to share, and be considerate of the people in them.
- Photos you share are visible to that wedding's guests during the event, and to the couple and guests in the gallery afterwards.
- Anyone may ask us to remove a photo they shared or appear in.
6. Your Content
- You keep ownership of the photos, videos and messages you share.
- You give CrowdSnap permission to store, display and deliver them to that wedding's couple, guests and venue, only to provide the Service.
- Galleries are available for 12 months after the wedding date, after which content may be deleted. Download anything you want to keep.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not upload illegal, harmful, harassing, sexually explicit or infringing content; access other people's accounts or weddings without permission; disrupt the Service; or scrape content from it. We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules.
8. Service Availability
We work hard to keep CrowdSnap running, especially on wedding days, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. If a wedding is significantly affected by an outage on our side, contact us and we'll make it right, including a refund of that wedding's fee where appropriate.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrowdSnap isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost photos beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending the Partnership
You can close your venue account by contacting us; weddings you've already added will still run. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections on content, fees already charged and liability continue after an account closes.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. We'll email venue partners about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
